OUR VISION

Brandywine Bible Church exists to Glorify God by making fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ who impact their families, community and world with the Word of God.

OUR STRATEGY

Brandywine Bible Church desires to make fully devoted followers. A fully devoted follower is one who does "What Christ Expects".

• They are meaningfully involved in Worship - John 4:13-14; Heb. 13:15-16; Rom. 12:1; Col. 3:1-2
• They are meaningfully involved in biblical Community - Acts 2:41-46
• They are being adequately Equipped for works of service - Eph. 4:12; I Cor. 15:58; I Peter 2:5

Each of these three areas of a fully devoted follower of Christ should be carried out in the following spheres:

• Personally-in ones own walk with God
• Family-as one relates to his immediate family
• Small Group-as one relates to his small group
• Congregation-as one relates to the church body as a whole
• Neighborhood-as one relates to those in his neighborhood

OUR VALUES

BIBLICAL - Our intention is to have everything that happens at BBC to fall in line with Biblical commands and principles. We will not encourage, defend or support anything that directly violates the teachings of the Scriptures. Hebrews 4:12

PRAYER - Our desire is to constantly bring everything we do before the Lord in prayer realizing that "without him we can do nothing". John 15:5; I Thessalonians 5:17

AUTHENTIC - We are committed to doing what we say and keeping our word to the best of our ability.

EXCELLENCE - We do not seek professionalism, performances or perfection but the satisfaction of doing the very best we can with the resources God has provided.

CREATIVE - We believe Christians should be the most creative people because we have the Creator within us. We value and desire to try ideas as long as they fit in with our other values.

TEAMS - The task to which God has called us is too great for soloists. We value building teams and training up others.

FAITH - Hebrews 11:6 teaches us that "without faith it is impossible to please God". (Hebrews 11:1&2) Therefore, all that we seek to do is with complete dependence on God and with an aggressive spirit of expectation.

CLARITY OF THE GOSPEL - It is important that we always present a clear Gospel, especially to children. We will avoid vague phrases and confusing language. Paul gives us the gospel in I Corinthians 15:1-4.

COMMITMENT TO REACH THE NEXT GENERATION - While being firmly committed to the Scriptures we will make a concerted effort to reach the next generation of believers by being relevant in our Worship, Community and Equipping ministries. This will mean modifying our worship style, events and teaching methods from time to time to reach the upcoming generation.
